A PAWSITIVE PET CARE SOLUTION ~ Personal care when you can't be there
Just a dog walk in the park. . .
A dog walk in the local park Luddam's Ford Park - Hanover/Pembroke
"So, what exactly happens on a dog walk?"
Well, the answer to that is relevant to your pets needs, your location and proximity to an appropriate park that allows dogs. We have varied experiences for our clients and their pets. We'll use a 30 minute walk as an example.
Generally, we like to get right to the walk for our pets' sake and we like to take care of "business" right away. It doesn't take long before your pet will come to understand the routine of our arrival and what that means for him! A dog walk! Most of our pets greet us very enthusiastically knowing it's time for some fun and exercise!
Off we go! Whether that means on a leash in your surrounding neighborhood, or into the Pawesome Pals SUV for a short ride to a local park (depending on your location & proximity to a park in our service areas of Hanover, Norwell, Pembroke, Rockland, Abington, Duxbury, Marshfield & Hanson, we get right down to it. Paramount to many of our clients is exercise and fun for their pets. We also are diligent and pick up any mess made by your pet regardless of where we walk.
Upon our return, we give your pet a complimentary brush and once-over for ticks, burrs etc. We also wipe paws and dry off your pal if it has been inclement weather. We will wipe up the floor or sweep if necessary as well. YES! We still walk in the rain and snow...as long as the weather does not pose any danger to either your pet or to our staff, we walk the dog!
Should there be severe weather, please be certain to refer to our website, we will post any notice of cancelled services for the day on the home page. However, please note this would need to be severe weather conditions. We will still drive to and visit with your pet as long as we are able even if we may not spend our entire visit outside. We are happy to improvise and play inside with your pet as well! Play, entertainment and exercise are all part of the dog walk experience.
Lastly, your pet deserves some belly rubbing and a treat for good behavior and a good walk! We make sure your pet is rewarded for being good and receives a treat or two prior to our departure. If there is any special request by you, perhaps you want us to bring in the mail each day..., we are happy to help.
We can customize and accommodate your wishes. We will have the opportunity to discuss this during our in-person consultation prior to beginning services with you. If you have special needs or requests such as feeding or administration of medication, we can help you out there too. If your pet has a favorite game or toy, by all means, let us know! We like to maintain continuity of routine and familiarity for your pet.
We hope this helps you understand that we will care for your pet as if they are our own!
This is Norris Reservation in Norwell, we love to walk here. It is very dog friendly and has both short and long trail loops. Give this park a try yourself sometime!
