Who We Are: Dog Walkers, Pet Sitters and Care Takers
We are a South Shore based dog walking and in-home, pet care company with our corporate office located in Hanson, MA. We were established to provide an alternative to leaving your dogs and other pets home alone during your work day, during your overnight trips or when you go on a much needed vacation. Our very own pack leader has been a dog owner for her entire life and usually had some resulting issue with her dogs upon returning from previous vacations. It just never seemed like her dogs were getting the attention and personal care she wanted for them.

Hearing distressing reports like the food dish was chewed or that the dog bed left with the pet was destroyed or that the dog simply would not eat is very upsetting and makes going on a vacation a difficult choice when you are worried about your best friend! We want to be your pets buddy, a reliable source of comfort for both you and your pet. Let us pet sit - your pet stays safe at home with a professional pet sitter to visit and care for him.

After a personal consult to determine compatibly and our ability to meet your needs, we will come to your home to walk your dog, to feed him and play with him, provide quality and attentive care when you want it. We pride our team on consistency of care....having just one or two care providers assigned to and responsible for each client's pets. We specialize in canine care but are happy to tend to your cats, birds, rabbits and fish as well. Sorry, we do not offer any reptile care at this time.

In addition to tending your pets needs, we will gladly provide complimentary and add-on services. Complimentary services include retrieving the mail, alternate lighting/shades, wiping paws after a walk outdoors and adjust indoor temperatures. Additional services for a fee would include purchase and delivery of locally available food/treats or even scooping the poop!

You can count on Pawesome Pals when quality of care for your pets matters. Remember, exceptional service is our standard. Evidence is in the wagging tails! More wagging, less barking!

Deborah Griffin, Owner and Principal of Pawesome Pals, LLC

Debbi has an extensive background in Property Management, Real Estate Development, Sales and Marketing. This experience is supplemented by broad skills in customer relationship management, budgeting, brand platform development and advertising. After almost 15 years in real estate development and sales in the Greater Boston area, Debbi has turned her attention and focus to the personal care and attention of animals. Dog walking and pet sitting in particular. Though she has life-long experience as the owner of dogs, rabbits, birds and fish, she is enrolled in a certification program for pet care providers, ahead of any state or federal requirements for such certification. She believes that education and on going training is most important in a pet care and service industry.

She currently parents three airedale terriers, Roy and Jack, both 6 and a half years of age and their sister Lola who will be 4 next April. Additionally, they have two rabbits and a fresh water fish aquarium. She has also had the privilege of parenting an all-american mutt, one beautiful Golden Retriever, two German Shepherd Dogs (one adopted from the GSRNE and one saved from certain euthanasia by former owners), two parakeets and two hamsters.

Debbi stated at the beginning of her business in August 2008, "I wanted to put my skills to use in a more nurturing and caring environment. I love my 'fur kids' and would never kennel them myself. When we go on vacation I ask myself, "Who will feed my fish and change the water and food for my birds each day?" I know there is a need for alternative, quality pet care solutions. What better way to find them than to found a company that provides exactly what I am looking for in pet care for my own dogs and other pets."

Alicia has over 30 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, hamsters and other common family pets. She has been both an owner and a care taker in her experience. She is warm and caring and our Pawesome Pals pets all love her. She is pictured here with one of our pets, Sonoma! We look forward to great things with Alicia as we continue to grow. Alicia assists with pet sits and ocassionally dog walks.
